The Leftover | Review

Rating: 4 out of 5.

First impressions

This one was a gift from tthe author and it was so nice to read.

This one seems to happens in the universe of another book but it was so cool on it’s own too, we have two sisters and tv show that makes for a hilarious plot.

And the so nice and cute interest romance wasn’t that bad either.

We have Megan a bookworm and lover of cozy house like a lot of us, with the dream job of being a narrator for audiobooks, that gets a little trapped by her sister to go in her place to this survivor type of show where she find her crush Cane, from a bachelorette type of show, that is a medic for this new show.

And with that combination disaster/cuteness ensues and some things begin to get into place for and interesting romance there.

Trust, self esteem, friendship.

Final thoughts

By the end you have a lot of crossed feelings about the characters and the plot but that’s what made a book so special that you can feel what they’re feeling or feel for all of them.

Totally recommended for comedy romance lovers you will have a blast with this one.

About the book

A reserved wallflower discovers that reality TV is the perfect backdrop to develop her confidence in this lighthearted rom-com. Megan Malone is the ultimate homebody. When her sister talks her into going on The Leftover , a local version of the TV show Survivor , she isn’t sure she’ll make it past the first vote. Meanwhile, Cane Trevino is nursing a broken heart by joining the show as a medic. With time away from his regular job and a dozen contestants to distract him, he hopes he can finally get over the woman he thought was “the one.”
