Sinopsis

En el año 7 de la Nueva Era, el mundo es muy diferente a cuando Tes tenía diez años; una bacteria ha exterminado a todos los hombres y mujeres mayores de dieciocho años y los humanos que han quedado sobreviven como pueden en todas las partes del mundo, al igual que Tes tras la pérdida de sus padres, John y Graciela, pastores de la iglesia bautista de la ciudad. La vida de Tes en la pequeña ciudad de Ione en Oregón es tranquila a pesar de que Frank, el jefe de su clan, se está volviendo cada vez más despótico. La llegada al pueblo de un extraño llamado Peter, que dice provenir de la ciudad, levanta la sospecha de que hay más supervivientes al otro lado de las montañas….

La verdad lo halle super interesante, tiene sus referencias bíblicas pero tienen sentido con la historia y no son excesivamente intrusivas tampoco. Me encanto los temas que toco dentro del libro y el como van evolucionando no solo los personajes sino también la historia en general como un todo.

Tess es un personaje interesante con el que es fácil identificarse y las situaciones son bastante creativas partiendo de que también puedes identificarte con ellas las hayas pasado o no y a veces hasta te sientes bien o mal por los personajes, que es la finalidad de los autores siempre hacer que sientas algo cuando lees sus libros.

Quede bastante interesada en la serie y espero que pronto pueda leer los otros 3 porque quisiera saber como termina esta historia.

Review

The truth is super interesting, has its Biblical references but they make sense with history and are not too intrusive either. I love the themes I play within the book and how they are evolving not only the characters but also the story in general as a whole.

Tess is an interesting character with whom it is easy to identify and the situations are quite creative starting from that also you can identify with them the bees gone or not and sometimes until you feel good or bad for the personages, that is the aim of the perpetrators always Make you feel something when you read your books.

I’m quite interested in the series and hope that I can read the other 3 soon because I would like to know how this story ends.
