Sinopsis
No es una coincidencia que el Invierno Nuclear (el oscurecimiento de la Tierra durante las 24 ho
ras del día menos una, cuando hay luz solar) haya creado un ambiente casi perfecto para los vampiros. Ellos han ganado, tienen el control del planeta y los humanos han sido finalmente dominados, encerrados en vastos campos de concentración por el mundo donde, criados como vacas, ovejas o cerdos, son alimentados y “cosechados” para el mantenimiento y placer del Amo.
Una red desorganizada de humanos libres, constituida por gente común, entre ellos Eph, Zack, Vassily y Gus, continúa una desesperada resistencia, interrumpiendo el devastador nuevo orden del mundo y batallando contra los Señores Vampiros en todas las ocasiones posibles. Para ganar, tienen que confiar en la intervención de una inesperada raza de seres (quienes otorgan un nuevo sentido a la frase “ángeles y ministros de la gracia defiéndannos”) quienes organizan a los humanos para la última batalla, la que recupere y rehabilite el planeta para toda la humanidad. Se juega con los sobrevivientes como si fueran peones en un juego del Bien y el Mal que tiene sus orígenes en los tiempos Bíblicos, y que requiere del sacrificio final de todos los implicados.

Un final interesante nada de bien o mal al final, solo diferente, eso me agrado fue bastante real en cierta forma y me dejo una sensación de final abrumadora.
Los autores supieron mezclar el misticismo con la normalidad y la ciencia para darnos un libro asombroso que nos dejaba en el borde de la silla hasta su abrumadora consecuencia.
Una de las cosas que más me gusto es que no fue un típico final de el bien triunfa sobre el mal, sino mas bien se acabo y veremos como recoger los pedazos, la trama fue muy solida en los 3 libros y la verdad se la recomiendo a todos aquellos que busquen algo diferente en cuanto a vampiros.

Review:
An interesting ending no right or wrong in the end, just different, that I liked it was quite real somehow and left me a feeling of overwhelming finish.
The authors were able to mix mysticism and science to give us an amazing book that left us on the edge of the chair to its overwhelming result.
One of the things I liked the most was that it was not a typical end good triumphs over evil, but rather is just us and see how we pick up the pieces, the plot was very solid in the 3 books and I recommend it for all those looking for something different about vampires.
